Idaho Mobile Crisis Support
If you are experiencing a behavioral health crisis but are not in immediate physical danger, call or text 988.
When appropriate, Idaho's 988 system may connect you with a Mobile Response Team that can provide in-person crisis assessment, stabilization, and assistance determining the appropriate next level of care.
Idaho Behavioral Health Crisis Centers
Idaho has a statewide network of behavioral health crisis centers for adults and youth experiencing mental health, substance-use, or other behavioral health crises.
These centers are designed to provide a safe, supportive alternative when someone needs urgent behavioral health help but may not require an emergency department.
Adult Crisis Centers
Adult crisis centers serve individuals age 18 and older experiencing a mental health or substance-use crisis.
What to know:
Services are free of charge
Insurance is not required
Services are voluntary
Individuals may stay for up to 23 hours and 59 minutes
Services may include crisis assessment, stabilization, crisis intervention, substance-use or withdrawal support, food, a safe place to rest, and connection with ongoing community resources
Centers are intended for urgent behavioral health needs and are not a substitute for emergency medical treatment when someone is in immediate danger

If you are experiencing a behavioral health crisis and are unsure which resource is appropriate, call or text 988.
Idaho's 988 system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can help determine the appropriate next step. When appropriate, 988 may also dispatch an Idaho Mobile Response Team, staffed by behavioral health professionals who can provide in-person assessment, stabilization, and help determine whether a higher level of care is needed.

Northwest Restorative Psychiatry is an outpatient psychiatric medication-management practice and does not provide emergency or crisis services.
